Peloton Interactive, Inc. Price and Consensus

Surging Earnings Estimates Signal Good News for Peloton (PTON)

Peloton Interactive, Inc. PTON is an interactive fitness company that could be an interesting play for investors. That is because, not only does the stock have decent short-term momentum, but it is seeing solid activity on the earnings estimate revision front as well.

These positive earnings estimate revisions suggest that analysts are becoming more optimistic on PTON’s earnings for the coming quarter and year. In fact, consensus estimates have moved sharply higher for both of these time frames over the past four weeks, suggesting that Peloton could be a solid choice for investors.

Current Quarter Estimates for PTON

In the past 30 days, nine estimates have gone higher for Peloton while none have gone lower in the same time period. The trend has been pretty favorable too, with estimates moving from a loss of 23 cents a share 30 days ago, to earnings of 7 cents today.

Why Moderna Could be a Good Short

Short sellers might want to take a hard look at Moderna, Inc. (MRNA), in my opinion.

Shares of the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based biotech have climbed more than 50% in just the past month. On Monday, the stock price rose more than $13 to trade around $80 per share on news its Covid-19 vaccine candidate showed promise in a phase 1 clinical trial.

The gains in Moderna stock have pushed its market value to nearly $30 billion, which seems pretty high for a company that has yet to turn a profit and has lost more than $1 million over the last three years. In fact, the firm’s only revenue to date has come from research grants and the licensing of its technology. Moreover, vaccines are a famously unprofitable area of development, which is why companies tend to focus on drugs instead.

Of course, there is a chance that the vaccine could be

8 Healthy Frozen Meals That Taste Good

8 Healthy Frozen Meals That Taste Good

You have to take food endorsements by athletes with a grain of salt, but it’s hard not to get sucked in by Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson’s infomercials on the Instagram account for Performance Kitchen, a new brand of microwavable frozen meals.

“I’m doing everything I can to eat clean and eat right, and that way I can live long and play long,” says the 31-year-old Super Bowl champion, who adds that he grew up eating cheap fast food and lost his dad at 55 to diabetes.

You can see him tossing spirals, hustling across a grassy field, and wolfing down a bowl of cauliflower mac ’n’ cheese. Wilson wants “a healthy option that’s quick and easy” for himself, his kids, and probably even his R&B-superstar wife, Ciara.

Good players can always play together - Man Utd boss Solskjaer eyes Pogba and Fernandes combination

Good players can always play together

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready to thrust Paul Pogba back into Premier League action alongside Bruno Fernandes at the heart of Manchester United’s midfield.

Ankle and foot woes have kept World Cup winner Pogba sidelined for large parts of the season and he has yet to feature alongside January recruit Fernandes.

In Pogba’s absence, playmaker Fernandes made an eye-catching start to life in the Premier League after joining from Sporting CP for £67.6million (€80m).

There is persistent speculation that Pogba could leave Old Trafford at the end of the campaign, but Solskjaer will want to see how he and Fernandes function together beforehand.

Asked whether the star duo could be paired up, Solskjaer said: “Good players can always play together, so definitely it’s a big yes.

“But then I’ve got Scott [McTominay], Fred, I’ve got Nemanja [Matic], so I’ve got three players there as well.

“You can’t just play with

Trump, Fauci tout 'good news' from remdesivir drug trial in treating COVID-19

Trump, Fauci tout ‘good news’ from remdesivir drug trial in treating COVID-19

Infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci on Wednesday touted the results of trial examining an experimental drug treatment for the novel coronavirus, calling it “good news” as he spoke in the Oval Office alongside President Donald Trump.

A randomized, international trial of the drug remdesivir had resulted in “quite good news,” shortening the period patients experienced symptoms and potentially slightly reducing the mortality rate, according to Fauci, a member of the White House’s coronavirus task force and the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which sponsored the trial.

“What it has proven is that a drug can block this virus,” Fauci said, calling the development “very optimistic.”

‘The Complex’ is almost a good FMV game

‘The Complex’ is almost a good FMV game

Full-motion video (FMV) games, or interactive movies, have been around ever since the CD enabled PC games to use more than a few floppy discs’ worth of data. Most histories mention Night Trap and Sewer Shark, both rescued from the failure of the VHS-based Control-Vision by Sega. Sadly, those two Mega-CD titles often drown out discussion of more interesting early PC titles, like 1994’s Tex Murphy: Under A Killing Moon. That game combined FMV, virtual environments and a point-and-click detective game in a way that worked surprisingly well.

These days, no discussion of FMV games can begin without the obligatory mention of Bandersnatch, the Black Mirror special broadcast on Netflix. The interactive movie wasn’t Netflix’s first attempt at branching video, but it’s certainly the highest profile in recent years. In the gaming world, these games have always bumbled along, catering to a small audience of fans. An

US Virus Outbreak Changing New Orleans

New Orleans’ ‘Let the good times roll’ now ‘Wash your hands’

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — A week ago, revelers jammed bars in the French Quarter and New Orleans’ Irish Channel neighborhood ahead of St. Patrick’s Day while hotels, taverns and restaurants looked ahead to what is usually a lucrative festival season.

Now, the party is suddenly and decisively over. Coronavirus dread has settled uncomfortably over this most social of cities, where public gatherings are banned and 15 of Louisiana’s 20 COVID-19 deaths had been recorded as of Saturday.

While Gov. John Bel Edwards openly worries that the state’s ability to deliver health care could be overwhelmed in another week, the metro area has become one of the nation’s hot spots for the virus, home to the vast majority of the more than 760 infected statewide.

Two new testing centers for the disease closed within hours of opening Friday, having run through the day’s first allocations of tests.

“Laissez les bon temps
